Namaste (Singapore)'s mission and vision will be attained when children are given education, as William H. Gary III had said, "Nothing is more powerful and liberating than knowledge."
Namaste (Singapore) has identified Nepal as the country to render assistance in education.
Nepal is among the poorest and least developed countries in the world with 42% of its population living below the poverty line. The number of abandoned and orphaned children in Nepal per capita is one of the highest in the world.
> Namaste(Singapore) is currently working together with two homes in Nepal:
Namaste Children's House
In 2003, Visma's - founder of NCH - dream of serving the society was realised. With the help of many friends, Namaste Children’s House in Pokhara, Nepal was established. It is legally registered in Kaski-Nepal and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council in Kathmandu. The organisation is dedicated to providing a loving home, proper nutrition and healthcare, and a good education to the poor, needy, abandoned, and orphaned children of Nepal.
Nepal Children Orphan Home (NECO)
Serving as a guide in Nepal, Bishow Bhatta has seen and done a lot. But after seeing many abandoned, homeless and poverty-stricken children in his mountain travels, he could not simply pass them by any longer. So, Nepal Children Orphan Home (NECO) began in August 2006 when he and John Snyder (a US citizen living in Nepal) offered their shared home rent-free.
Apart from assisting abroad, Namaste (Singapore) also provides emotional support to the elderlies and the mentally challenged residents in Singapore.
Namaste (Singapore) has adopted:
80 Buangkok View, Buangkok Medical Park
6 Buangkok Green
We spend quality time with these residents by organising outings, serving dinners, celebrating birthdays, Christmas and other occasions.
Come Join Namaste(Singapore) in the journey to bring a SMILE to our extended Family.
